had a little fluke get off in august trail riding in nm... got hung up on a log, standing, and fell into a hole and landed on my lh shoulder... it popped out, had to pop it back in to get off the mountain.. I am at the end of my rehab and about to get back on the bike.. hit hard enough, the second hit crushed foam inside an aria helmet... concussion..
the part of my humerus I broke is where the rotator cuff attaches.. lovely..

a few things I have learned thru this... at 53 ish, you don't heal like you used to.. I have had numerous injuries... this by far, seems to be the worst.. It may just be the most recent..

really ready to ride again been way too long

I never really liked pain killers till old age came now they are a reality ! I find myself happy with less daring riding for sure . And also found that i have and wear every piece of protective gear that fits on my body .

Good to hear you're about healed up and ready to ride again.

Now days, at 70 yrs of age, I'm slower than I used to be, but I crash less often, so maybe it's good trade off.
