I may not have given it a fair shake. I haven't ridden the gasgas in over a year and this wasn't single track, Harescramble pace. This was me and a buddy riding power lines and two track.
But it just took too much snap away for me . You can get the front wheel up but you really have to want the front wheel up . It may have been me , but I think something half that weight would suit me better.
It would be hard for me to imagine anything above the stock FWW. I suspect your 23 oz FWW would require clutching to get the revs up, then Katy Bar the Door.

Yeah, Log crossings I had to rev it up more that what I was used to. Was a little unerving ,I may get used to it after awhile , but I think I prefer it without that weight . Maybe a 12 ounce or something.

Disagree in regards to having to clutch to get revs up. I have no problems bringing the front wheel off ground when needed. Just blip the throttle and bam it's there just a bit smoother!!!
