I'm in the need for a front and rear sprocket for my '07 ec 300,is there any cross overs or do i need to buy oem ???

The rears are easy. Ironman, Supersprox, and Moose all have them. The Moose is the least expensive at about $50, it's aluminum and seems high quality enough. The Supersprox is about $80, the Ironman $130. (all retail pricing)

The front I have not found a crossover for, but I know that Talon and Renthal are both available, only through the dealer. I can look up the part number on the renthal package I saved at home and post the part number, but I don't know that you'll be able to get it directly because they don't list it on their site. Fortunately the front sprocket is fairly low price, even at dealer cost, though it is double what you'd think.

thanks roostafish.....any help would be appreciated. when you say dealer,do you mean gasgas dealer or any bike shop???

call gofasters for the throttle cable, and get the +1.5 inch one. there arnt any cross overs because we have a special bend that comes off the carb to accommodate the gas tank, whereas a ktm or honda do not. at least thats the only reason i can think of, the ktm uses the same throttle tube and carb, but the top of the carb is different on ours.

I just bought a set of front and rear sprockets from Scotties. Supersprox part numbers are:
Rear: 1512(11s-415-47r is also on the package)
Front: 10-GG1-13(95-GG113 also on package)
This was for a 47 tooth rear and 13 tooth front.
I also bought a DID 520 VM chain too.
Hope this helps mate.
Cheers Mark

When I say dealer, I meant Gas Gas dealer, which I understand are fairly scarce. I'm lucky to have the best dealer of any bike brand just 40 miles away, who happens to carry Gas Gas. He's truly the reason I'm still riding a Gas Gas. Gran Prix Cycle is the name of the shop, in Oregon. He even has stuff on the shelf, no waiting for orders. (541) 926-3139

Renthal front sprocket part number:
360A-520-13P

Pretty simple. It even says Gas Gas on the label.

And here I always thought I had the best dealer around.

I might have to call ya on that one....:D

My stock front sprockets start to hook at 800 to 900 miles. This is about how many miles I get out of Sprocket Specialists front sprockets as well.

In comparison on my '01 XC300 the front Ironman sprocket is just starting to hook at 2200+ miles.

My '06 EC300 front Ironman looks good at 1900 miles.

Ironman front sprockets are a great value for me, with well over twice the life at a reasonable price.

Thanks guys.....I think I have all the info to continue my search,I appreciate all the help.........................RIDE SAFE !! ;)
