Almost brand new 2007 Gas Gas 300EC.

- Officially Street legal. (I have done all the work and its registered for the street).
- LTR Jetting kit from the dealer.
- Hyde skid & pipe guard. (Nice unit).
- All the factory street goodies, 100w stator, 3 stage head light, speedo/tac, signals, etc.
- Softer seat.

I purchased the bike new a few months ago as left over 07 stock. Has only a few rides on it. Reason for selling is I have decided to purchase a street bike and decided to keep the lesser of my 2 dirt bikes to free up some cash.

Besides the obvious of a having a street legal dirt bike, its nice when you have to drive on the dirt highway for just that little bit between trails knowing the fish cops cant fine you.

nerd or holly, whoever owns this fine peice of machinery now :)
could you send me pics of just the hyde guard, pref a head on shot from low left(as you face bike), with as little wheel as you can. im saving up to get one, but ive only seen good pics on older bikes, and id bet that hyde would be happy for a good pic for their website too.
this bike just screams "find me an xr650l,im starving!"

Yup, it's still for sale. Im out of town till tomorrow but if you want more details call me or pm your contact info.

Thanks.

With the recent rise of the US dollar that bike would only be $4800 US ($1USD to $1.25CAN)

Looks like a great deal for someone south of the border.

I wonder if the street legal Canadian title would transfer over to street legal here in the State of Washington?

I think it might be more of a huge PIA than a problem and I sure would do a whole lot of checking before I pulled the trigger. Bringing a bike in from another country is allot different than bringing it across state lines if your looking to keep it legal and registered.

I know with the gas gas, since the serial number does not come up in the registery is an issue since at that point it's "out of country". Getting it registered at all is the main hurdle. The fact that it is registered in Canada is benificial as the CAd and US registeries databases are tied together. But yes you would want to investigate your local state laws.

Bringing a bike in from our neighbors is a non-issue; at least through customs in our area. I have purchased 3 bikes in the past when exchange was favorable to me, just check with the local border crossing for the proper paper work needed and the method needed to avoid any duty. I would be interested, but have never ridden a GasGas at any time and a 15 minute parking lot excursion would never count. Sounds like an excellent price, exchange or not!!

god i love montana!! we have the least restrictions it seems when it comes to vehicles. no emissions testing, no epa stickers for mods, bikes only need head/tail/brake to be street legal, and theres no end(at the moment) to the trail system!! and if yoour sneaky, you can drive around on job applications in your window as temp plates!!
