Gas Gas has turned an Orange rider!

I was with Tim on that ride in Prescott. He was, indeed stoked on the Gasser. I suppose anyone would if his regular bike was a Honda 250X.

I rode that same bike as well that day. I was amazed at the usable power. The trail was tight and twisty with a couple blind hairpin turns that caught me two gears too high. The EC300 motored right up and I could have spirited it onto the pipe had I wanted too.

Unfortunately, Tim and AZ MotoCity couldn't come to terms on the price. Tim bought a barely used 2007 KTM300 (note his signature now) from a club mate for about $3,000 cheaper, and loaded with goodies. He's quite happy with the KTM, but his only real ride on the bike was up in Flagstaff this week so he hasn't ridden tight trails like Prescott. He'll soon discover the limitations of the PDS (especially in '07 trim) and the KTM doesn't doesn't turn so well.
