'04 Gas Gas 450 SM
I have put around 650 miles on it, so the bike now has around 1000 miles on it.
I really like this bike, but I always wanted a Husky and more recently an Aprilia. I would like to keep it, and have 2 bikes, but that's out of the question right now. I really like the looks and aftermarket selection of the Huskys and Apes.
It has Acerbis barkbusters, Trail Tech Vapor, TFI, FMF Q exhaust, Brembo front brakes
This bike has been great fun since I figured out the really minor problems I had in the beginning.
The battery died once, turned out to be a broken wire on the regulator, which I have replaced, not a problem since. It has a connector for a battery tender, but I have never used it, bike starts up everytime on first or second try. Like all these bikes, the kickstarter will probably be useless unless you change to a mcct and a longer kickstarter.
The way the shop had the TFI tuned was too rich and it made the ride a little jerky, I turned it down and it's smoooth.
It would be easier if someone had a Husky they want to trade so I don't have to sell it and then go find a Husky.
I am looking for an 05 and up Husqvarna 450, 510 or 610 supermoto, but I might even go for a street legal TE if you have one. Or an Aprilia 450 or 550.
