GasGas Arizona

I only have enough spare time to ride the races (and to prep for the races) until my daughter's volley ball season ends.

I'm ready anytime. Picked-up a 2011 300 Race version last week.

Still can't get myself to let go of the trusty 2002 EC300 - that bike is the gold standard that I judge all other bikes against. I think I'm going to find a large fuel tank for it and make it my long distance ride.

AZRICKD - by the time you get the 2012 it will be too hot for any serious riding

My game plan is to have the 2012 300 Race E by the time the Arizona Trail Riders' "Sheridan Mountain Showdown" non-time-keeping qualifier enduro race commences on April 15th. I'm not sure I'll ride it, there -- just put it on display.

As for hot weather riding, I can, with some effort, be ready-to-ride at 5am and done by 7:30am. We'll also be heading up to Flagstaff for lots of riding (especially when the monsoons wet things down).

What clubs do you all belong to? Go to www.amraracing.com and find one--

ATR, OCMC, FAST'R, RockStars, TRS, CTR, OHV85...

The club you join depends upon your interests (single-track, dual sport, camping, racing), you location (Phoenix, east Mesa, west valley) , and your demographics (kids, no kids).

Let me know when you can ride I am available most anytime.

BTW, you can join the club i'm in. It's called, "the ride anytime as much as we can, anywhere we can, no paying dues, guys riding club" yeh I know cool huh? It's a mouth full , but it's also our motto. We're working on a sweet a@# logo too.

You don't even have to be a member to ride with us!

:D:D

I usually am out every Sunday...and sometimes in the middle of the week, depending on work. Mostly SOAZ though, probably head to Flag in the summer, over to Silver City as well.

Mostly like single track, but I'll ride whatever...

Are you in Tucson? I'm in Maricopa, is there something in between the two?

Yes Tucson, I think Florence is in between. I believe there is a little single track out there. It has been years since I have been there...the last time was for a Neduro class...but the class got rained out, so we didn't get to ride the ST. Couldn't see it was raining so hard.

I tend to ride San Manual a lot, about the only ST down here.

I can't remember where we staged in Florence...but I found a picture on ADV Rider...you can see my Toyota with my then KTM and my buddy's Yammie. I didn't even know there was a thread of that ride, I just googled it and see what came up...and went "hey there is my truck, someone took a picture of"

LOL, I vaguely remember that place. I had some friends talk me into going down there to climb on some of those chossy boulders. I haven't been back since. That was back in the mid to late 90's

Yeah not the best place, kinda over run by 4WD's, ATV's and SideXSides...about the only thing half way.

Ok I think I found the name of the staging area, it is called Boulders and it is off of the Florence-Kelvin HWY...

I wouldn't even know where to begin to find the ST, but I do know it is the "back way" to the Coke Ovens. By looking at google earth...seems like there are a ton of cow trails there...

I don't know what I am doing this weekend, either San Manual or heading South near the Border. I am trying to find more info on the Florence area, but the guy I messaged hasn't gotten back to me yet.

EDIT: My source got back to me, No single track out in Florence.
