GasGas EC 125 2010 crank assy

Hi, I have a GasGas EC 125 2010 with a damaged crank assembly in need of changing, but I can?t find anyone who sells one. I have however read that some years of Yamaha YZ125 has the same engine and I’ve also found a crank assembly for 01-08 model years. Anyone know if the 01-08 will fit and if not, why? Also if anyone knows if any Yama crank assy fits and if so, which?

They use the same rod and crank stuffers as the older yz125 but other parts are different. If I recall correctly the flywheel taper is different and trans primary gear shaft size and spacing is different.

Just get your crank rebuilt.
