I cut the seat of my kx and it was great when paddling through rocks but just couldn't get used to the geometry (chopper style) of the bike when sitting in corners. And yes there is not much to chop off the GG seats
If I did it again I would drop the fork clamps and get a susp. guru to lower the shock internally
