Gassers at the WUDI

It was nice to see a good stack of GasGas riders at the WUDI ride this past weekend. Jim Cook was there with the whole family, I got to meet Phoenix from OKC area and the board here, and there was a GasGas rider leading a large group out on the trails that I never got tracked down in camp. Very nice to go to a fun ride and see more than 1-2 GasGas riders out there.....:D
Trails were fun and not just a mud pit, Thanks to the Razorback Riders for hosting the ride & to Jim Cook & John Brunsgard (jeb over at KTM talk) for (un) organizing this ride

I read that Jeb was hurt at some point after the race. Picking up markers or something like that.

Yes, he was pulling markers after the White Rock enduro the week before. Broke his shoulder I believe and ruined an Arai helmet as well. He was at the WUDI in a sling but in good spirits.

It was good to meet you, Fred! Definitely more Gassers out there than I'm used to seeing at a riding area. :)

If any of you would like a tour of Brock Creek give me a shout about 60 miles of technical single track with lots of elevation change.

Fred I noticed it says you live in NW Arkansas. Do you ride the area often?

I don't ride at White Rock/Mill Creek very often, maybe 3-4 times a year. I'm lucky enough to have 460 acres of single track at my disposal here at home so most of the time I'm riding here........it's a 2 hour trek to Mill Creek and I skip the haul and ride 2 extra hours here unless something is going on there....... Planning on trying to make the Blackjack enduros this year

Nice to meet you guys as well, I should have got my butt out and went with you guys on Sun morning but I was playing lazy instead

Good offer. It is a place I want to ride sometime. Is it a good place to ride in any conditions or are sometimes of the year better than others? I was surprised when I went to Whiterock in early summer and the berry bushes really took over. The Missouri woods tend not to green up too much. I'm sure the heat of summer is not the best.

What a blast!
My first time down there. Our group had about 20 total from SE MN.
It was my first outing on the (new to me) 09 EC300.
Absolutely great; big difference coming from an 01 EC250. Also, the first time I've had a bike's suspension set up for me.
Great hosts and great trails, I'll definitely try to make it down next year.
BTW, John said that they are waiting on his bone to heal in his shoulder before they can assess whether or not he'll have to have some repairs done. Hoping not, but he won't know for about 2 more weeks.
