Many thanks.

I've run ATF for years in my 2 strokes with no issues, and I ride in the summer out here in Arizona.

I use Belray gear saver 85w, i have used it for years in many of my other 2 strokes and never had any trans issues.

The gasgas tends to drag the clutch a bit unless it has "just the right stuff"....

Eric Kangas first turned us all on to amsoil 0w40... Still have two bottles in the garage...

Many in the u.s. are happy with shell rotella syn 5w40. I think this is the one Glenn (GMP) and eric now prefer...

I switched to it in my bike before it got passed on to roostafish. Less clutch drag, nice clutch engagement, and smooth shifting...

I agree with Rotella 5w40. I tried several gear oils but missed shifts and just didn't like how the trans felt. Put the Rotella in after reading what others reported and will continue to use in 07 250. Change after each ride and/or 50 or so miles.

I use GM AutoTrak II in my trials bike, 200xcw and EC300. It provides very smooth shifting with good heat resistance. It makes a big difference in the trials bike.
