I'm leaving in the morning to head down. Not gonna be a good place to break in a new bike, huh? Luckily that red Georgia clay isn't slick and has good traction!

The weather man is calling for some rain Sat and Sun. That GA clay gets slicker than goose sh-t when it is wet. If I was on a late row I would stay in bed on Sunday.

Make sure you wear your old crappy gear. I was at that race back in 08 when it rained. I had some brand new Moose pants (white of course) and they were garbage at the end of the day. I couldnt get that red dirt out no matter what I did to those pants.

advantage of a late row is you'll stay on the trail. The ruts get deep and it's like a slot car track. I always liked it wet, kind of like Ohio clay without the hills!

Switch worked... Clay got 2nd in his class A 50+

Holy cow was that a tough race! You were either in a slot or sliding on greased concrete. I think I was on the ground about 10 times. The bike worked great, especially the motor. The motor was about as good as it gets for that kind of stuff. It was a bad race to figure out suspension but I did get a little better handle on it.

My son wanted to know why I was giving a t shirt out to the guy that beat him in Open B! I told him it was because he was on a Gas Gas. He really knew the answer to that but he was busting my chops. Good ride, Andy!

Lol. That's pretty good. A lot of hard miles and yrs of riding took place to get first finally. He's young enough that he souldnt have any problem doing that very soon. Thanks again
