GG WIld 300 how to hotwire fan to stay on?

I have a Gas Gas Wild 300 and my fan module sensor went out. I want to know how to hotwire fan to stay on. I want to add a switch to to turn it on and off.

i'm not sure about a wild300, but on a txt280 there are two units. a fan module and a temp sensor. i believe the sensor can be bypassed by simply joining the sensor input and output wires, or adding a switch that opens and closes the circuit. but the module cannot simply be bypassed.
 
One your gonna cook the fan. Two it only needs to be on at stops or really slow like 15mph cruise.

Your having issues with your coolant system for sure man. DO the leak down on the coolant system.
 
again, i dont know about your specific machine, but the fan module on a gasgas trials bike is required and cant be bypassed. i believe it converts the ac to dc for the fan. in addition to the prior posts and their warnings, i think you should look into this. hopefully i'm wrong and its all okay.
 
I ran a wire from the headlight and added a fuse and an on/off switch. This way I can cut the fan on when I want to. This will help keep it cooler. And for loosing the antifreeze, I think it was my head gaskets. I put new ones in and didn't lose any antifreeze so far. I will see.
