Head and tail light

Hey All,

Just bought an Acerbis headlight setup and a Baja Designs LED drop down tail light for my '06 EC300. From what I understand and can see, these bikes come wired for light setups and the original owner passed me the tail light and stock headlight for which both were smashed. I'm assuming it's plug n' go with the new setup I got, correct?

You may or may not have issues with the LED taillight. LED's want DC power and your bike puts out AC power. It may appear dim or to be flickering when lit. You can add a current limiting resistor to help with this and help the LED appear of equal brightness as DC power.

the taillight wires may be hidden in the airbox, or they may be cut , if they are in there you may need to replace the connectors on the new tail light,you wont have any problem with the led tail light,it will help reduce draw from the headlight,same goes for the headlight,wiring should be there...

Thanks! All the wires appear to be there so I should be good. He even put dielectric grease on them.

Ive put a led tail light on
I cut the old loom keeping a good lenght of wire to keep the old plug.
I joined light to the plug loom by twisting together, run the bike holding the light to work out if wired correctly and adjust .
Then soldered up and fit job done
