I just bought my first GasGas, 2011 EC 250 six days. 70 hrs on it. I have been a KTM rider for a long time and this is my first purchase in dirt bikes out side of KTM. Headed out to Rock Creek this Saturday to see if I'm going to keep this bike. The bike looks awesome, I just hope it rides like it looks.

Its laying on my bench right now. I got it with the side stand already pre-boken off. I have a friend whos going to weld it up today I hope. If not, there are plenty of side stands in the woods.

I did adjust the power valve noise yesterday and that made me a lot happier about the bike. My old KTM 300 was nice and quiet and now this one is too, well almost. It still knocks at idle but I can live with that.

The idle knock is probably the PV. Its normal, but it can be quieted up.

Congrats man, I came off a '10 KTM 300 when I moved to GG200 - best decision I've made regarding the bike I ride.

Heres some pix I took after replacing the front fender and cleaning it up a bit. My Scotts damper mount will be here tomorrow.

The more you ride it and tweak it to your style, the better you'll like it. One thing though, I don't think that is a 6 day model....the 6 days didnt' come with e-start. I guess it could have been put on later but the color scheme of the bike isn't that of a 6 day. Really not that much difference between the two though.

I bought this from a friend who gave it to his son. When I picked it up from his son he told me it was a Six Days. I talked to my friend tonight and he told me he was looking for a Six Day never found one so he bought this. Just a 2011 ec250 Tanks for pointing that out to me. Now I feel better for paying 2,700 for it.

Have you dug into the jetting yet? I just arranged to have an '09 EC250 shipped here for my brother-in-law and I'm trying to get it calmed down a little. The jetting might be a tad on the rich side, but she hits like a scalded dog...crazy how hard it pulls compared to my 200

Have you dug into the jetting yet? I just arranged to have an '09 EC250 shipped here for my brother-in-law and I'm trying to get it calmed down a little. The jetting might be a tad on the rich side, but she hits like a scalded dog...crazy how hard it pulls compared to my 200

Yes, I went to a 40PJ a 170Mj and a ec3h Needle, 2ed clip down. I like it rich down low, it crawls through the technical stuff better. OH and 60:1 full syn Amsoil Intercepter.
