I am wondering if someone could help me with locating the yellow and blue wires under the gas tank to switch the mapping. I have a blue wire with a yellow stripe and a yellow wire with a blue stripe are thoes the wires that I have to disconnect? Or where should I look. Thanks for your help.

Under the rear of the tank is the EFI module. It is attached to the tank. Two wires are attached with a screw to the EFI casing (on the corner). One is a ground connection for the efi casing(think its black). The other should be your yellow/blue wire. There should be a rubber insulated connector that you can just pull apart.

Do you know if there is a yellow/blue wire on my '02 fse400/450? I looked and cannot find it. Looking for more power as it dies out at top end. Actually, it sounds like it hits the limiter too quickly. Hope it has something to do with this Y/B wire. Thanks in advance - Rob.

The yellow/blue wire disconnect only started with the '05 fse's. U do not have this lean wire connection.

My 04 FSE

I have a 04 FSE supermoto

The question is, What are these wires all about? Changing mapping just by unplugging or plugging in wires?

My bike has started to pop a bit during decel and after a hard rev it pops at the height of the rpm's. This makes me think its running lean for some reason and maybe what you guys are talking about is something that will help me figure that out.

Someone enlighten me. What is this wiring thing you guys are talking about? I am interested. Hopefully somebody will explain this to me in detail. The more about my bike I know, The better.

Thanks
