HID lantern conversion

I saw this HID lantern for $115.
How come a person can't convert this to motorcycle use?
It would be way cheaper that buying an HID headlight.
70 min run time ain't too bad.

Trailtech has a selection of integrated HIDs in different mounts, sizes, and beams. Average about $125 but designed for off road MC use. All you need is 12V DC 35W. These are so nice and compact, I'm going to mount a set on my Ducati as driving lights. I can fit them on top of the frame sliders.
