How do you tell ???

On my new to me 2003 EC 300 I'd like to know how you tell which forks the bike comes with , WP or Marzochi (sp) ? I think the're WP as I have measured them and they seem to be 43 MM where the Marzochi (sp) are supposed to measure 45 MM.
Are there any mfg. marking on the forks to tell which model i have ? I've looked high and low and can't find anything.

WP forks are grey, Marzocchi forks are black.

On the WP has a black knob to adjust the rebound on top of the fork and the Zoke has a screw. Maybe that will help.
If it's a 03 it should be a WP.

Bergerhag, went to the web page and Gas Gas listed two forks for that year, thats what confused me.

Speedymanic thanks ,they are grey. Confirms what Treesmacker said. I appreciate the help guys.
