How much fork oil?

Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can find what oil level I need for my forks? The bike is a yr200 ec 250 with Marzocchi forks (regular not upside down ). I've found a manual but it is confusing as it gives 3 different amounts 135mm 145 Mm depending on something or other and then in a diagram it shows 190mm from the top of the stanchen.

135 mm is kinda "standard" adding oil will make it stiffer (130 mm) taking oil out will make it more plush (140 mm)

Play with it and find what works for you.

If the manual provides a measurement rather than a volume, they may be indicating the air gap. Larger air gap equates to less oil and vice versa. Unless they specify that this is a measurement of the oil height. Either way, you will need to add oil until you get the correct height of oil or air in the fork.

You measure the air gap with the fork collapsed and spring removed. The actually minimum air gap will depend on the volume of the fork once springs and spacers have been included. Too much oil and you'll hydraulically lock the fork and the seals will cop a flogging.

With a low oil level you may get away with 1L of fluid, but in many cases it'll end up around 600-700ml per leg. Best to have 2L on hand before starting.

Yeah I understand that part I just didn't know what that related to volume wise so I knew how much to buy.

Yes 2 liter and lowest position with the spring out.
