N Neil E. Active member Jun 26, 2014 #2 You will need to "map out" the functions of your switch. The stock GG switch has two operations. With KEY ON on it passes power to other devices. With KEY OFF it connects the black/yellow CDI wire to chassis ground (green/yellow wire).
