Rode my 11 300 e-start at the national enduro saturday and i couldnt be happier. I rode rmz450s set up for woods before and the gasgas was just way way easier to go fast on smoothly. Ive rode the bike three times now, one test ride, one hr long gran prix, hare scramble and the enduro and it the tight stuff its awesome. Im not a big hare scrambles fan anymore but it did well there also. Tied for my best all time openB finish with a 2nd, awesome trail but a little slick. Used 2nd and third gear down low and alot of momentum to keep wheel spin down and traction going. Couldnt have done it as well w the 450. Open corn fields where a blast with the 6th gear. For anybody thats on the fence about these bikes try one, they just do too many things right. I weight 260 so bigger guys dont think they wont work for u either.

Nice report! Singing to the choir! :D The only real problem I have with GG is that they've just brought out a new model which is everything the last model was but more of goodness. IMO thats why these bikes work so well. Each year they refine what they had making it even better.

Very cool and congrats on your second place run. We had an 06 RMZ450 and it was fun but yes it would wear me out too. The GasGas 300 I have now like yours is so much easier to control. Can't wait to get my 12! Thanks for the report.

John.. You know its your duty to provide the most detailed ride report ever seen when you take ownership of this 2012 :) I'm hoping it'll be the nudge I need to make the commitment myself.. YOU HAVE THE POWER!!

I keep telling myself I'm getting one.. Then I ride my 2010 and finish the day with a smile from ear to ear and wonder if things can really get any better :D

I'm not much at writing but I'll sure do my best. Just don't take off points for spelling! My biggest problem is I don't think I'll be able to wait on the 200 and may just get a 250.

Even better mate.. I'm considering making the change from a 300 back to a 250 myself. I think stepping down from a 300 to the 200 I might miss the power a bit too much.

Rode the same enduro that Andy did. The dirt was really hard to read. Sometimes it looked slick but wasn't. Then it looked like it had traction but didn't. Then there was the soybean field with one 200 yard long rut! They also had several river crossings that were tricky. Damien from Dirt Rider borrowed a bike from us and fell over in the river in the 3rd section. I forgot to tell him about the drain bolt in the bottom of the cases. Would have been a good thing for him to know!!! :D
