I made one of these from the drawing. I haven't installed it yet because I am too chicken to cut my hoses.

On the bikes with the thermostat, the upper hose is molded larger where it fits on the thermostat spigot. If your making your own, up the dia on one side to the same as the spigot. I had to use a second short piece of hose to increase the dia and get a good fit.

I found that out last night after I removed the T-Stat. If I trim the hose on top and bottom past the part that is expanded for the 'stat housing, I think it will fit fine. Just nervous about cutting the hoses this close to a holiday weekend and not being able to make it work.
