Yeah it sure is scary stuff. My inlaws are about 30min drive from where this happened, they are OK but many are not and looks like worse is yet to come. The city of Brisbane itself is under massive threat in the next 2 days. Gonna be some hard times ahead for sure but I am sure the communities will rally around each other and will pull through!!!
