last ride of the season and my buddy ditched on me (2 cold) so i'm going solo. I'll be riding owl mountain between rand and grandby in Routt national forest Colorado. I drew my girlfriend a map but in case things go really wrong I wanted to make a post. I'm leaving tomorrow morning 10/7/12. I'm staying the weekend (camping off county road 755) and should be back Monday 10/9/12 at the latest. I'll post when i get back if im not frozen or dead. thx all.

There's been many a time I wanted to ride off-road but would have had to go solo and I couldn't justify it.

Again, be safe and post back as soon as you can.
 
just take it slower then you usually would, enjoy the more relaxed ride.
i'm allso hesitating when i go out alone,but sometimes i can't resist :D
just no risks at all, and you'll be fine.
if you wanna play it safe, try to show your location every few hours somewhere via internet, if you have coverage there.
for ex with iphone you can add pictures via instargram on facebook and those should be able to point the location of where you took the pictures...just a thought.

I ride solo a lot, do to conflicts with my friends work schedules. Carry a few more spares(tools, parts, rope, tarp, etc.) 'cause you never know...Good luck, and be safe.
 
I'm back safe. I went slower then normal but had a great time! I had 1 get off but all i broke was the gopro. I'll post a ride report if i find time tomorrow. Thx for looking out:D
