leftover 2011 or new 2012?

A local dealer has a 300EC on the floor and I was considering taking a serious look at it. I have been "burned" by the new model thing in the past and was thinking of getting a 2011 and waiting for the dust to settle on the new model.

Well we know the 2011's are soild bikes. That being said....I'm getting a 2012! I have a lot of confidence in GG and trust the 2012s will be sorted when we get them. I do understand the new model hesitation but the 2012's upgrades and looks have me foaming at the mouth for one.

Local? Where are you from? (hint: you can add your general location to your signature)

I am also One that would normally hesitate on a new model. However I remember reading somewhere that GG has a 7 yr design cycle so the new design has been getting there for the Past 7yrs unlike other brands that have 2-3yr cycle so in theory things have been more thought through and chances of recall are lower ... Ps I may be wrong!

I also think it depends how long you plan on keeping the bike because with this new 2012 looking as awesome as it does I think it will be harder to sell a second hand 2011 in a year or so
