Little Naches Memorial weekend

For all those that are thinking about coming to the Little Naches Memorial weekend for motorized use might want to make a backup plan. I went to the T.W.I.G. Meeting for the Naches dist. and they are seriously considering closing the whole dist. for motorized use. The finial decision hasn't been made yet but I give it a 90% probability it will be closed.And worse yet they are talking about keeping it closed until June 15th
Like I said though it isn't set in stone.I figured everyone would like a heads up though.

Unfortunately I agree that it should stay closed. I feel with the huge and late snow pack this year the trails will probably get trashed again.

After seeing what happened last year when the poker run was allowed to run through very wet conditions, I'm all for it. The main loop trails used for that event turned into junk, the worst Ive seen over the years. Braking bumps and acceleration chop hardened as it dried and turned into cement through the rest of the season.

But this is just one man's opinion.

Every single trail in the area got hammered . So I to agree with it also.
