LTR alloy water pump impeller.

"Hey, give one up here. :) "

I would be happy to if I did not have two bikes
that need them. :D
Best of luck finding the elusive treasure of LTR
water pump impellers.
If I locate one or hear of another one. I will post a note
back here.

Wow, so they provide a spacer to block out the cover to accommodate the larger fins... Looks like some serious water pumpage would go on with that thing.

Has anyone in the U.S. ordered anything from 2T racing? Do you speak "eye"- talian or how did you deal with the language thing. They've got some nice stuff.

Oh my!
No matter how cool you think you are, there is always someone
out there much cooler than you.......
Europe sure has us covered in the arena of bling for our beloved GasGas'ers.
Thanks for the link.

I talked to Mark at GoFasters. He has 45 impellers he had made. He's also has some other stuff not yet on the site.

FWIW, to new people reading this thread. The GasGas motor has no issue with overheating. Its actually one of the more boil resistant bikes out there, certainly more than a 2-stroke KTM. The problem is with some of the plastic impellers breaking down over time, some in little time. GasGas did go to an aluminum impeller, but apparantly went back to plastic or is using up stock as many newer bikes including mine came with plastic.

The LTR impeller solved this problem back in '03. While Les was at it, he increased the vane area and proximety to the pump cover for better flow, but this was not the primary goal.

Yep, both my 2000 and 2005 EC300s sport the original water pump impeller. They both look to be in good shape. My bikes overheat on occasion, but in the condition I place the bike, it's expected. No air flow and a heavy load for too long will casue every bike to overheat.

i bought an LTR impeller and when i went to put it in the stock impeller was aluminum already. it is an 05de300. so i guess i dont need it.

You should still install the LTR impeller - it has an improved impeller design - taller vanes, etc that improve the efficiency of the coolant system over the oem impeller.

If it were me, I would install the LTR impeller and then sell your oem metal one to someone else...

Impeller

Hi Guys
How do you fasten the impeller once it has been replaced and at what torque? It seems to me like the shaft will just turn when I start to fasten the bolt. A guy recommended to take of the entire side cover, so one could be able to hold the shaft from the other side. Any easier solutions?

I took it apart without any problems, but would for sure like to fasten it enough.

BTW the impeller on my GG EC 300, 2008 was plastic too
