Recently I returned from ktm to GG :)

So,my ec 300 2010 is in very good shape.

My carb specs are:
Carb 38 asll
42p N3CH#3 172 main.
I didn't ride the bike yet ,only around the house. bike start ok,idle ok.
Revs clean but seams to stop reving 100%. 85% maybe .

Is 172 main ok for this needle?

175 would be my choice.
250m-1200m elevation is the altitude I ride.
This combination worked well on both my 2010 and 2015 ec300’s with both bikes squish measuring up at a loose 2.1mm.

Just try it a size smaller and see if it is better or worse. Your bike with your oil ratio with your local gas and altitude etc. . .

Mine needed a 170 to rev out cleanly.

98 RON gas, 300-1200m alt. , temp around 25C, oil ratio 50:1.

I don't know if is a good thing or a bad thing, but when I bought the bike start soooo easy,I mean u can kick very easy to start it,was Ipone oil premix. So after I put in BELRAY SI7 ,compression was higher!

Update.
42 N3CH#3 170 and 172 is lean on pilot.
42 N3CJ is lean in every clip position.
42 N8RJ#3 170 this needle is got the best top end power
42p NECW#3 170 is the best what I can do for now.
But I don't like how the bike work,I don't know if the jetting is the only issue but this bike has no power on midle throttle.
I also tried NECW#4 ,more power but to rich on needle. Is strqnge how it feels,is kind of flet power, and the engine sound ia more pronounced in air box area.
Is like power valve issue but is all good there.

Very weak after 3 years of ktm..

I like so much the bike, but the power is weak, is like 250..

Other mods, ignition timming to be more snappy, I took off reed valve spacer, 13-50 gear ratio,0.35mm cylinder base gasket,1.8mm squish.

Rings are ok,power valve works ok. I want to check the crank seals, spark plug looks ok,no oil on it,but u never knows.
LHS seal is a little bit wet.I'll change it for peace of mind.

Update.
I've changed the cylinder base gasket. From 0.35 to 0.45 and I mill the cyl. head 0.50mm only from o-ring part.

I have also checked the power valve resistance,I loss of a bit.

I've moved bottom piston ring up,was better than top one.

THIS THING RIPS!!!!!
HOLLY F@#$

Just a little bit of hesitation from 0.15%-0.30% off throttle.
