On a KEIHIN PWK 38 Carb I have a 175 Main and its too lean, which direction do I need to go to make it richer 170 or 180?
Main Jet Sizes?

too lean is a condition of too much air. So you would need to go to a bigger jet to allow more fuel into the mix. IE: a 180 or you can fine tune the 175 somewhat with the needle clip position by dropping it down on the needle to in effect raise the needle out of the main. Hope this helps

I've played with the needle but no sucess so thats why I want to try main jet.
Seems we have same intrest in bikes
74 Yamaha DT400 1st bike (what was I thinking)
82 Suzuki PE175 (cut my teeth on this one)
90 Suzuki RMX250 (was best bike on planet)
96 Kawasaki KDX200 (had enough)
04 GasGas DE200 (sorry I waited so long to realize a real Dirt Bike)
