Motobatt batteries 2012

Hi All, I was messing with my bike at the weekend and decided to try a set of leads from a car battery I have laid in the garage, whhooooaaaa the starter nearly cranked the motor out of the frame I was really shocked how strong the crank was. I guess its new battery time thing is looking at the motobatt site I cant see one that matches the sizes, does anyone know which one fits in the battery box on a 2012. Thanks All.

I have a Scorpion stinger high output something or other. Very lightweight and works awesome.

What is the battery model it has in it now?

Motobatt do multi-fit batteries and use spacers to get the fit the same as a large range of generic batteries. I'd just use the crossover motobatt for your current battery.

Hi, Thanks for replies the Motobatt crossover is 9mm longer than my present battery, looking at the box its either going to fit very tightly or not at all. I was looking for someone who had one fitted.

Why are you interested in the motobatt specifically? Why not just another battery that's the same?

I'm surprised motobatt list a larger size for the crossover, never seen that one before.

What is the model you currently have? Just out of curiosity.

I read someplace they had a better crank than most others my battery was FTZ-7S

Where did the 9mm longer come from?

I measured my actual battery at 105mm long.
looking at the links you posted theyre a good swap so that's answered my question maybe theres a little manufacturer variation who knows.
