RPM counter gauge?

Hi all,
Had my 2008 EC250 a few months now and finally got it MOT’d and road legal and have noticed since it came back from the garage that the rev counter doesn’t work.
Problem is it was barely ridden before and had no battery in the trail tech etc.
Am I right I’m thinking this does have a rev counter or was I imagining it all along?

If so does anyone know which plug or coloured wires behind the headlight unit it should be?
Have attached a pic of the speedo so we know which one I’m working with

I think that had a connection to the spark plug or coil

if you look in the manuals section any around 2010 will have half of it dedicated to the speedo

if you haven't solved this have a look for trail tech vapor fitment which is what the gg unit is

A mate had one of those and it worked. I never have seen another. Working.
