Must do for gasgas

Someone here was just looking for a bigger tank!
Perhaps if theyre prepared to trade air filter access for extended range...

The 2012s had a 10.5 litre tank that unfortunately swelled when exposed to some common tools, so if you removed it was nigh unto impossible to get back in the frame.

The fix was to retrofit the smaller tank (9.5 litre, and blown by a company that knew it would have fuel in it).

The access issue you're having is compounded by the plastic subframe, but most filter failures in 2012 were caused by battery acid leaking onto the filter.

So if cox76y retrofits the smaller tank (9.5) is it identical to 13-15 tanks or specific to 12.ie.will he be able to reuse 12 shrouds or will only later shrouds fit.

The bolt pattern on the tank is the same for the shrouds from 2012 going forward, but he's best to invest in newer shrouds anyway - the 2012 versions didn't have any ribbing and flexed way more than later models.

Yeah, I already have the 2013 shrouds as apparently the 2012 shrouds were discontinued. This wasn't a bad thing as they were prone to breaking too easy.
