My 11's brake pads still havent been changed!!

I dont know what brand of pad they put on these bikes but my 11 300 brake pads have lasted forever!! Ive got about 80-90 hours on it and they still have material showing. Many muddy rides and enduros are on them too. Ive replaced the top end and im about to do chain and sprockets before pads. Good stuff.

Crazy eh! The stock pads are genuine Nissin Sintered pads. Or at least they were on my 2010 R model. Coupled with Galfter wave rotors.

I had a similar experience. My pads lasted forever the first time around and the rotors are still perfect! I also thinking riding style makes a huge difference, some of us don't use the brakes as much

Mine are the same on my 11, about 60 hrs. Just looked the other day thinking it would be definitely time but they have plenty of life left.

I don't ride enough. I've replaced the rear set once. Fronts are original!

100hrs on my bike. Fronts are down to half a pad and rears still look new. I'm a front brake abuser too!

Over 75hrs on mine,front and rear still have around half the pad material left. CRAZY......

Same! I've been carrying my spare set to every ride for a year thinking "surely they'll wear out this weekend".

P.S. my bike is a 2007, but it has the galfer rotors - maybe they are the secret ingredient....?
