Nambotin leads ISDE

Just seconds between the top guys right now. Overall changes from test to test if you watch the live timing so they need a few days to start spreading out a bit.

US lost our Trophy rider Ricky Dietrich very early the first day which really sucks:mad: Kurt Casselli has already won a few tests but he's been inconsistent in others. He's within the top ten overall though.

GO USA!!!!!

Nambotin on the GG in the lead again after day 3. He's opened a slight gap and is riding very consistent tests.

Kurt Casselli of the US is all over the place again in the tests. He's still in the top 10 but maybe trying to hard and taking some soil samples. He's as fast as any of the Euro guys but just not as consistent this year.

As a whole Kurt's enduro test are really hurting him here. He says he just not confident in the rockier enduro tests. He had the same ptoblem in the rockier tests at the Chili Six Days in 2007.

Bobbitt has his own wierd thing going on as he's doing very good in the sandier cross tests and not as well in his enduro tests.

Cory Buttrick is the exact opposite as he's doing better in the enduro tests and not as well in the cross test which according to him is the exact opposite of how he thought he'd do here.

GasGas is very dominate brand here in Portugal as they are everwhere. On the street and entered at the ISDE. Dah...go figure their built next door in Spain.

Still kind of a good feeling being involved with GasGas and seeing them do so well.

Thanks for the little update Steve...keep em coming!

Kurt needs to come play in New England for a bit to get comfy in the rocks:D

Kurt has had his best day so far (Day-four,) but Nambotin is still getting the job done even though Aro is gaining slightly as he moved up from 3rd place yesterday to today.

Tomorrow is a completely new course and I would think that it will be the most technical day of this year's Six Days.

All of the teams are having sound issues as ISDE technicians are sound testing every bike each evening during imound and each rider absolutely needs to have a muffler ready to put on as they only give you 30 additional minutes to make sound with no outside assistance available.

Go GasGas!!!

I saw that Nambotin is using the Stealth silencer. He can't be having any sound issues with that thing as it's super quiet...and not slowing him down at all:D

I hope he can take the overall for GG since Casselli is not within striking range.

Thanks for the link Steve. Almost like being there. Also enjoying the rest of your photo's. Many of them would make excellent posters and mag photos.

Very kind of you to take the time to update us here on this forum!

And yes, it's fantastic too see Gas Gas is leading the overall AND the womens class! Go Gas Gas! And I see Finland is doing very well also even though Juha Salminen's bike gave up on him :( Bad luck can happen to us all...

2011 when they organize the ISDE in Finland I'll be there all week! Hugely exiting and entertaining :)

Thanks Steve for the updates and taking all of the excellent photos. I must ask though... how comes there are no LuLu pictures (riding, working, etc.). It would nice to see Lady GG in a few photos. By the way, I do like how you catch some of the local ladies watching the races. Keep up the good work! :)

Nambotin on the GG still in the lead for the overall after day 5. Probably a lock to win it unless he gets taken out in the final MX race tomorrow (remember Juha had this happen).

Kurt Casselli had his best day I think winning a few tests outright and right up there in the others. He's in 7th overall and 6 seconds out of 6th. Other US riders were doing very well also, Cory Buttrick and Russel Bobbit had some high placings in the tests.

We NEED to finally win this thing next year in Mexico.

What's going on with the scoring system??? It looks like it stalled and I can't find Billy's progressive results.
