I've got a 8882 with a new 5.4 cannon racecraft spring and used 5.2 ohlins spring. In Australia though so postage would be the killer. I don't really want to sell it as I'm keeping it for a spare.. Could be open to offers if you really found yourself in a pickle.

Same thing thing happened to my 08 300.

Cracked along the casting line, I had mine repaired, they welded a strap over the top of the eye...good solid repair.

You should give mark at gofasters a call, he ordered the part for stock...not sure if he ever got it.

Actually 1/4 of the top eyelet is gone. I assume this shock is a Sach no serial # just S H stamped at the base. The shock I have, measures 16 3/4 eyelet center to eyelet center. The Ohlins #GG7250 is 18.5", I imagine that shock would not work. I will call Gofasters again tomorrow. Just hate to spend $1200.00 on a new Ohlins just to do a little trail riding behind my house.

i could possibly have a sachs from an 09 ec 300 , the only problem is im in the uk so shipping will not be cheap , have ohlins also , if your stuck one or the other may be an option if you cant source one over there.

An older shock will work in a newer bike, its just longer so raises the rear end up a bit. A friend put an 05 ohlins shock in a 2010 and ran that, no issues, hes an AA rider.

Bad News!

My Ohlins #GG7250 shock arrived today, but does not fit my 2008 GasGas 300ec. The length could be adjusted to fit, although I'm sure the shock would not perform correctly. The gold colored gas cylinder is longer than the Sach, inwhich it hits the end of the head pipe where the muffler connects. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Or, need a new Ohlins shock for $490.00!
