Getting a couple 300s and a 250 in and I am gona race a 300 myself. Some questions. How is stock jetting, suspension. What do they need besides hand, skid and rad guards. Also would like to get rid of front head light and put a regular plate, anything fit? I know I am a dealer and should know this but gasgas is all new to me. How many of you add stabilizers and rekluses?

Hey Bones. Everything you need to know is on this forum. Mark at GoFasters will be able to hook you up with the number plate. You'll probably want to respring the forks and shock but other than that most reviews are pretty positive re the valving. Some feel that the stock jetting meets their needs well, but there are lots of options out there to change the power delivery and improve fuel economy. I'd start by confirming the float height as they seem to come all over the shop. As a dealer I'd probably do that as part of pre delivery too. If I was going to be racing I'd also seriously consider measuring the squish and having it sent out to be set. RB mods is popular if you're in the states. It makes the engines run so much stronger yet smoother. Helps set the jetting big time!@

Other than that not much to change. They're pretty nice out of the box. Bash plate and/pipe guard isn't a bad choice either. Enjoy!

RB Designs. Google it. Fundamental 2T engine head design. Squish band height clearance angles blah blah blah. It gets well technical and over my head, but I can tell you that having the head set up optimally for your riding conditions (fuel, alt etc) makes the bike all that much more enjoyable.
