With this 300 I'd get ALOT of aftermarket goodies, well worth the $2k+ over the 200, but it is just that initial cash outlay that HURTS, you know?
Soooo, what to do?

Not sure if you saw my PM?
Anyway, I think it really depends on the type of riding you plan to do as well as your stature. Although I haven't ridden a GG300, I came off a KTM 300 and it was a great bike - just didn't fit me or my riding style very well. 95% of the stuff I ride is tight and technical, not open. If I rode an area called China Hat (desert) more often, I think the 300 would be a great bike for me. But, I've found I prefer the feeling of the 200 for what I typically ride. It's also a better fit for my 5'10" 180lb frame.
Getting all the aftermarket stuff is always a bonus; I sunk a ton of $$$ into my KTM and didn't recoup much of it when selling it...but the guy buying it got a sweet deal
