New handguards...bar end mounts don't fit?

I bought some new handguards for my 2017 ec300 after breaking one of the stock brush guards off. I'm actually surprised those lasted a whole season. I bought the acerbis x factor with the universal mounting kit and the bar ends are too big for the stock GG bars. I know I can thread the bars but does anyone know of any other bar ends with a smaller diameter I could use with these bars?

"Universal" means "fits nothing."

Could you drill them out? I've done that in the past.

Haha I've actually always had luck with their standard bar end mounts on all of my other bikes. But yes, if all else fails I'll tap the bars and bolt them in that way.

The screw in bar ends are the best.
Just get the ones for the Renthal bars.

Just replace it with a smaller rawl (expanding) bolt

Like this just replace the bolt to match your hand guards
