J jamesukm New member Apr 22, 2010 #1 Hi There does anyone have any recomendations for oil for my TXT 250 pro 05. i want to change the oil out as i am getting some gear growling in 3rd and 4th and i have been told that this can be elimininated by oil selection. cheers

Fred1956 New member Apr 22, 2010 #3 My 06 280 Pro takes 425cc of Type F ATF. Works good. I found that if you put the full 550cc that manual calls for it ends up out the vent tube.
