Older Gassers

Something I noticed on this site. Is alot of us tend to keep our older Gassers around even when buying a new one. And still ride them as much. i haven't run into that with any other brand owners.

I think there are several reasons why:

1. Low resale value

2. Rock solid reliability

3. Great back up ride / loaner bike

4. Easy to work on

5. Low maintenance

6. Good spare parts availability

7. Still race competitive

8. Conversation starter:cool:

9. It?s their first GasGas

10. Like a pair of 10 year old Danner?s?..there just getting broke in:D

number 9 first gasser for me...

i bought my 01 new in 08... i am the original owner on the title.. it is the closest to a new bike i have ever owned.. it is a great bike..

has not moved in 2 years and is now a 250.. wont bring much money but is a great back up bike and spare parts.. i willl probably never sell it..

this is it the day i brought it home... it is still pretty nice, but it has for sure been down a few times...lol

To sell or not to sell ,that is the question.

I just bought a 2010 nambotin,ex race bike.Told my wife i can,t sell old reliable {04 300] until i know the new one is good to go.

How do you like your 2010, I test rode a 2010ec300 and it has to be the best handeling 300 ive ever ridden, and ive done the 2013 ktm and berg demo rides!

i have only ridden around my yard on the 2010,trying out my buddies billet smart carb. The weather has been pretty crappy here [vancouver b.c].So far the bike seems more sporty than the 04,but also vibrates more.I got a gopro for xmas ,hopefully i can get some video up soon.

I have had my 2005 EC200 now for three years. I can't imagine ever getting rid of it. I have spent alot of money on it and if I get bored I just change the colour. Everything else is excellent.

Absolutely right.

I still ride my 98 EC 250, even though I have a 10 EC 300 Six Days, 12 EC 250 and 12 EC 300...
