Pampera 280 interchange

I've been told that the 2002 Pampera 280 shares the frame and engine with the Trials bike. Is this so? Is the Pampara identical to the Trails except for the seat, tank, and accessories? Did this change in later years or is it still the same way?

It shares the engine and some chassis components, not the frame.

if you download the parts manuals for the txt and pampera you can see the difference. although the frame are different, i think they are similar. you can judge for yourself....

My wife has an '02 250 Pampera and I assure you that the frame is nothing like a TXT trials bike. Its smaller and lighter than an EC, but supports a full seat and EC plastic. An EC skidplate bolts on as well. I was told it originated from a full size 50cc Euro only bike.

i guess what i was trying to get at is that the pampera frame, although different in appearance, does have the same, or close, frame geometry as a txt/trials frame, which would make it feel about the same as the txt frame. since you GMP have 1st hand experience, please let me know if this is correct. i am sure that it wont be exactly like a txt but i thought it was supposed to be much closer to a txt and much farther from an ec. thats what i kinda meant.
like the pampera is almost a txt with a seat and larger tank. when i reread my post, it sounds like a wise@ss, but thats wasnt my intent.
