the crossover says 'kx with modification' which model/year kx? there are several different ones....
and modification i'm assuming is drilling and bushing the pivot? (for 2000 gasgas)

i bought a 98 kx250 rear brake pedal, will see show it works out. at the race today i paid close attention to a a few different models rear brake pedal - it sure does look like the modern yz125 pedal would work (and the wr250 one too..) - i'm gonna take my broken pedal to the shop and compare. will report back!

and why is it that we are not buying/ supporting the oem parts chain? i,m sure these parts are still avail.

$91.60 for oem lever only
$150.38 for oem lever with tip, spring, pin, bushing etc.

$20 for used kx pedal complete.

i have broke 2 brake pedals this year. $20 versus $150.38 is good enough reason for me.

$20.00 used kx250 pedal + $.93 bronze sleeve bearing from mcmaster + o-rings + washers = better pedal than original.

the 1998 kx250 pedal i bought has pivot tip (there are later mdels without it..) LOOKS significantly stouter than the gg pedal. it's significantly larger in the 2 places i broke gg pedals. (about 1/2" back from front clevis pivot, and bigger area where pedal pivot goes through. i don't know if it's better overall, but we shall see how long it lasts.

What are the dimensions of the parts you added, and could you please add photos..:D

i bought a bronze sleeve bearing o.d. 16mm, i.d. 12mm, 20mm long. it was $.93..

pressed it in. greased up shaft. installed.

i used o-rings and regular m6 washer to take up a small space under the bolt (25mm bearing would have not needed this..)

this is for the earlier style brake lever mount..

total time to mount/modify under 5 minutes.
