phds question?

can a ktm phds bar damper be adapted to fit my gasgas 2012 300 and has anyone done this? ,as i find the gasser a bit more vibey than my ktm

I considered this as well. Slavensracing sells them. I don't see why not. I recently removed the OEM GasGas Renthal double wall bar and installed a Renthal FatBar which does not have the cross bar and my vibes have decreased quite a bit. Also installed nylon washers where my barkkbusters connect to bar ends and to my BRP clamps. The cons I have heard on the PHDS is that it comes with the medium rubber dampers and most recommend the soft ones which is an option meaning you have to spend more on top of the actual purchase price. And one other thing I heard is that when you do have a pretty good wipe out the mounts get off a bit and you have to stop and take out tools and realign the bars in the PHDS Mounts.

The stock Renthal bars can be run without the cross bar. It says so on the Renthal packaging that came with the bike. I ran mine that way until I got the flexx bars.

KTM-PHDS gets a thumbs up from me.

I ran PHDS on my 2011, no issues, used appropriately sized allen head bolts through top clamp. Expensive but really great product. Very noticable difference in reducing vibration and absorbing small hack. Ive since gone to Flexx bars which are basically the balls. For me, similar to running a Rekluse or a steering damper, once you go down the path and get used to the benefits, I cant see not running Flexx bars on future bikes.
