Pics from 7 days in Death Valley

Although I wasn't on my trusty GG for this trek, I enjoyed ~700 miles of dual-sport riding and my very first time in Death Valley.

It's not an area I would have thought I'd enjoy as I prefer the woods, but I was completely wrong - amazing place to visit if you ever get the chance. I'm obviously a bit biased, but believe the only way to really explore the park is on a motorcycle of some sort (really need a dual-sport or well sorted adv bike IMO).

First day of riding, quick 46 mile out-and-back as we didn't arrive until after lunch.

Our 4th day - trek out to Saline Valley hot springs where we camped off the bikes for 2 nights and did awesome day rides.

6th day; woke to ~40mph winds...made breaking camp a complete pia and forced a route change as gas mileage was a concern.

Friggin' last day, last ride, first flat of the trip...at least it started raining while I changed out the tube...lol.

Had 11 guys total for the ride, 2 of 'em had to leave early, so this is 9 of us.

Seriously amazing place to visit

Good ride report. Thanks for taking the time to take & post the photos.
It looks like it was a great trip.

What??? No pictures of snakes or "chupacabra"? Just kidding, it looks awesome.:D

LOL - didn't see much wildlife while we were out there. I did spot this guy on a stump when we stopped outside of Rhyolite, he blends in pretty well.

The biggest warning I received was setting up camp at the hot springs, we had to use rocks (in addition to tent stakes) and apparently, scorpions enjoy living under those rocks. Made you choose your steps carefully...lol.
