Power valve bearing question

zz means two shields (in the SKF world where I reside). 2RS would be two rubber seals, I would think that would be the best bet. Now that I think about it, the rubber shields will cause more friction (make it harder to spin), so two metal shields would keep more crap out of the bearings than one.
If anyone needs any bearing or seal help, I'm always around and willing to help out my boys.
Take care,
Tim

Seems like I remember they need to be open on the inboard side to allow unburnt fuel mix in as a lube ? Not sure. It's been a while since I've been in there.

i don't think these bearings would need any kind of lubrication because they don't actually spin, the just turn max half a turn orso, right?
so if any kind of crud could get in, that would only make it sticky

Hmm decisions they dont turn alot as they just open and close the transfer port gates so possibly the zz would be better as they have lube sealed in them dont they? Or did gas gas do this for a reason or to be cheap lol...?

I just can't see any reason why they should have any sealing. They operate in middle of spooge wich is like waseline...
