Local bike shop had a dyno day so I thought I would give it a go to see whats what and to get a bit of jetting advice. I haven't done the squish mod yet so thought it would be good to get a before and after run with it.

It made 44.4bhp and 31.8 tourque

That shows exactly what I keep trying to tune. The flat mid range that takes a big jump when the power valve opens. On my 2011 using a NEDW needle and adjusting the power valve linkage so no free play I had good success. On my 2005 I'm still chasing it and have not been successful with jetting and power valve linkage adjustment.

Thanks for posting and look forward to hearing the results after a head mod. I had RB do my head on my 250 Beta and it really helped the midrange before the power valve opened.

I was pretty pleased with it considering the squish is currently 2.1mm which I know is a mile out, I was more interested to see how the jetting was as I've messed about with it a lot, I want it to run a bit rich as sometimes it can be on long roads , but It looked good.

I think current carb settings are N3EG #3 45pilot 180 main ( could come down on the main slightly)

Other mods are fresco front pipe and pro circuit silencer, air box holes

Here's a quick video

I was thinking the same thing watching him run the 300. That's a long time at high revs with throttle off. No throttle = no oil

Yes I did cringe a bit at that, but he kept his hand on the throttle and sometimes slightly opened it but I would have preferred a bit of a rev now and then:p

The bad noise at 4:28 on the CR500 video was the tire skidding on the dyno drum after the piston seized.
