Does any one have a spare one of these for sale?

They break because of the small dia. of the end thats welded, and the excessive torque of the nut. I have fixed a couple without welding.

You need to drill out the old weld, so you must heat the part cherry red with a propane torch and let it cool slowly to remove the temper. Drill and tap for M5. Now you need to make a short 6mm OD x 5mm ID spacer the same length as the part that broke off, for the rod eye to ride on. I used some stainless tubing I had in work and faced it off on a grinder. Thread in an M5 bolt with the spacer and original washer, and cut the back off flush with the plate. Remove and reassemble everything using Red Loctite on the new bolt. This works fine, I did it on two bikes, just make sure the spacer is the right length so the rod does not bind.
