Question about clutch bolt - reverse thread?

Backstory: I went to kick the old girl ('14 XC300R) the other day and broke the shaft that the kickstart lever attaches to. GasGas sent me a new one so good on them for doing the right thing!

Now I'm trying to put it on. I have removed the clutch cover and taken out the clutch pack. It looks to me like I need to take off the whole clutch basket to be able to remove/replace the kickstart shaft as it is attached to a gear that sits behind the clutch basket (you can see the broken shaft in the upper left of the picture).
That big 30mm clutch bolt in the middle of the attached photograph is the one I'm trying to get off. It has 2 tabs (like a counter sprocket) and I have bent them flat. I'm having a bear of a time trying to get that bolt off, and now I'm wondering if I'm going the wrong direction. Anyone know if it is a reverse threaded nut?

I had to take the rear brake pedal off to get the clutch cover off, so I can't use that to stop the rear wheel from turning as I wrench on that clutch bolt. Maybe I need to put it back on temporarily to hold the rear wheel/transmission in place?

Thanks for any insight anyone can offer.

Thanks desert - I was worried about bending spokes. You don't think that is a risk?

And do you happen to know if that bolt is a reverse threaded nut?

The clutch basket nut is normal right hand thread.

I use an impact wrench to remove mine. Little drama.

impact works great - even if you think its a reverse thread. Ask me how I know... facepalm. Luckily it a new nut was all I needed.

To Home Depot we go...

Just went and picked up an air impact wrench and a propane torch from Home Depot.

Thanks for the suggestions you guys.

I'd try using just the impact first. before adding flame. Mark the shaft and nut so it can be returned to exact location. You know they make electric impacts as well.

Never had a problem. Saw that trick on the Rekluse web site.

That Rekluse video is helpful just make sure you have the bike in 4th gear or so. If you have the bike in 1st or 2nd you could damage your spokes. That video also how to depress your brake pedal so you can pull off the clutch cover.

Impact driver worked like a charm. Got it all back together and will give it a kick tomorrow. Thank you very much for the help guys!
