Questions about Dyna Ring

I know that there is a thread going about this product by jhend install problems and I didn't want to intrude on his thread so I thought I would start my own.

I've got a couple of questions. I've been to the Revloc website and have done a bit of research.

To give you a little background, I had a first generation Rekluse on my 250 I sold and I really liked it, it had a couple of drawbacks but nothing I couldn't get along with. I removed it before I sold the 250 with the intentions of installing in the new 300. But after looking at the Dyna Ring, as cheap as it is, and as easy as they say it is to install, maybe thats the route I want to go. I would like the overide and the bump start feature so thats a + for the DR. With the Rekluse, I needed 2 thick gaskets on the side cover for clearance, is anything like that required for the DR? After reading the other DR thread, it sounds like they have solved the installation problem they had so
how easy is it....really. The Rekluse was not too bad to install but still kind of a pain. Easier than that would be mo better. How would you compare the "action" between the old Rekluse and the DR?

I've already talked to Leftfield who bought my 250 and he is interested in the old Rekluse so my outlay for the DR would be very manageable.

Thanks for any and all comments and opinions.....

will sure let you know when i get mine back... if it works like alan at revloc says, it will be sweet... There are 2 different ways to set the gap it needs.. I am shooting for setting it internally.. that way the clutch lever is supposed to feel normal and work normal... but.. you cannot bump start..
External adds a knob set up to the top of the master cyl.. which i know me and i am kinda clumsy, so the thought of snapping that off ...

anyway in talking to alan and looking back on it, i see the problem. He has bent over backwards to help me and mine is on the way back to me.. Big storm hitting today, so who knows for sure when i will get it..

He is not sure why my clutch basket is different than the gg basket he has, but his ring fits perfect in his and drags in mine.. I pulled my complete clutch and sent it to him. he told me he has done less that 10 dyna rings for gas gas's so far..including mine.. Mine is the first one he has had any problems with...(that is my life story btw)

Now that i have pulled that clutch numerous times, you honestly could put that in in less that 30 minutes... shim it.. and be done.. there is nothing to it..
and no double gasket either..supposedly...
