Quick throttle bog

SO trying to get the carb set. WHen its running, all sounds/feels good. When blipping the throttle fast, getting a big bog. Have to roll throttle to avoid. Do i need bigger Pilot or move needle up 1? Have a 42 in there now and needle is middle, air screw is at 2 1/8 turns out.

I would try to richen the pilot first. If your bike is lean on the pilot, it is common that the idle screw is turned in too far to compensate which can raise the slide too far and also cause poor carburation at idle and a bog.

Obviously check pilot jet and cct is clear. Old petrol guns things up.

The air screw turned out over two turns would suggest the pilot is too rich .Has it always done this or has it just developed? If it has just developed look for something that has changed .Dont start changing jets
A pwk carb with a worn out jet block O ring may cause it to bog.
If it has always bogged ,try a 40 pilot ,air screw 11/2 turns ,raise the needle a notch .Do one change at a time ,then try it .Good luck
